Telehealth (Virutal) Appointments

Preparing for breastfeeding in advance will give you the best start at breastfeeding! We offer virtual prenatal appointments for convenience. These appointments are 30-60 minutes long. Telehealth visits are recommended for prenatal care to discuss breastfeeding/chestfeeding goals and to screen for health conditions that may affect breastfeeding. We often discuss antenatal colostrum collection, the first latch, and what supplies to have on hand.

While recovering from birth, getting out of the house and into an office can sometimes be overwhelming, so we offer postpartum telehealth visits. These appointments are 30-60 minutes long. A postpartum visit is recommended as soon as you get home from the hospital. IBCLC's are trained to troubleshoot (even via video!): latching issues, nipple/breast pain, milk supply concerns, positioning, pumping, weaning, and bottle refusal.
